Peanut butter tree

Harlequin glorybower is the common name but I call it peanut butter tree. The leaves smell like peanut butter when they are crushed or wet. I have had this tree from a cutting and now after 4-5 years it is blooming. The flowers will get darker and a small fruit will grow which is not good for humans or animals.

I can’t wait for the end stage flowers that look like 4 pointed purple/pink stars as they are so pretty! This tree also sprouts from nothing as I have them come up all over the yard. I usually pull them out as they get very tall.
