Mini Project
For a while I have been using a small zip purse to carry my paint tubes in but it has been too small so there have always been a couple that travel separately. So I decided to patch together a new one out of sample linens I sent for recently for upholstery projects I had in mind. Along with some sashiko stitching and a sample of my first embroidery flower and a zip that was once on an item belonging to my grandmother (saved by her just incase.. used by me approximately 40 years after she died... glad I kept it now!)
Today has been blustery.. breakfast was outside but the cushions blew off the chairs before we got out there and the the mats blew away before our eggs could land on them! Most of the day has been inside.. more housework.. I really do need someone to come and help with it just now. Either that or have more guests and make myself do more.. nothing like a guest to get one to pull ones socks up! The Queens final was the afternoons entertainment along with the stitching of this useful little upcycle project :)
