Deep Purple
I set myself a challenge today, to fire up an old camera, and see what photographs I could take with it.
Apparently mid-2000s cameras are now all-the-rage once again, as the younger generations play around with more analogue cameras that aren't linked to a phone - what a great thing to do!
This is taken on my Canon Ixus 90IS, a tiny digital camera small enough to fit into a pocket, and with which I snapped a lot of gigs and trips in the late 2000s. It's not doing too badly, all things considered - the image quality is a little poor, but it's only 10 megapixels. The camera features various manual settings to change ISO, shutter speed and aperture, and also has B&W, video and macro modes - the latter of which is used here.
I've spent today preparing for upcoming work this week, which will feature some travel. There is an impending sense of doom. There is not much anyone can do about it (other than protest to deaf ears) so I felt the need to escape to somewhere I can keep alive and happy, in the garden.
