Dog Days

Heat Dome • That’s how officials are referring to our four day heat wave, with Tuesday’s heat index forecasted to hit 107F. Yikes! This is so NOT normal for Maine. You can be sure we’re looking forward to Wednesday’s cooldown :) • Rain north of us this morning but here it was partly sunny. We visited Hallowell with hopes of spotting ospreys and eagles. The key word “hopes”. Oh, and the tall evergreen to the right of the house is where the eagle’s nest is located. Binoculars revealed flapping wings from an attentive parent but nothing more • Enjoy your Sunday! • Peace & Love
