Veg in the Hedge
The Isles of Scilly have many of these honestly stalls where various items can be purchased - fruit and vegetables, craft work, bottles of homemade fruit juice, cakes, various plants (often agapanthus or aeoniums) etc. The stalls usually have a box or container for cash and sometimes there will be a card reader. I did quite a bit of walking on the "inland" lanes and footpaths today and spotted a sign saying "veg in the hedge" and an arrow pointing the way to behind the hedge, where there was this pretty stall. I didn't buy anything as I wanted some veg to go with this evening's dinner but they were sold out of anything suitable.
I'd arranged to meet a professional dog portrait photographer tomorrow but accidentally bumped into her in the garden of a café where I'd stopped for coffee. She knew my dog was a Bedlington and I knew she'd hired a bike and trailer for her dog and camera kit. So we decided to meet this evening on the beach near me. We spent about an hour and a half there. I'm still going to meet her again tomorrow so hopefully she'll have some lovely photos of Ziggy.
My extra is the little bus stop near to my cottage
