Very busy horsey day. Edie and Eva hacked out first thing. Eva was on Lime and of course Edie was on Jack. Jack needed a wee which he'll only do in his stable so he didn't want to trot. As soon as we got back to the yard he did a massive wee in his stable. Silly boy! 

The girls bathed Lime who was very grateful as he's been so itchy. Mike came down and helped me drag out all of Jack's rubber matting and we disinfected the stable. They only get lifted once a year as they are so heavy. They fit tightly so not much gets underneath them but it was getting smelly in there so needed doing. Poor Mike! 

We came home for a quick bite to eat then back to the yard for lessons with Ruth. Eva went first with Indy and they did a few exercises to work on his balance (small circles spiralling out) Then she swapped onto Buddy. I could have had a lesson but I wanted Ruth to tell her what I've been telling her re dropping her contact before a fence. She agreed with me that's what's happening. Of course Eva won't listen to me cos what would I know! It's just my horse! Anyway I enjoyed saying I told you so!!
