Meet George

We had coffee in the sun and got the car packed.
I had some fun with the wee George who is curious and so much fun before we left Roachside to get to Carol and say good bze to her and the dogs.
She got some bad news when we were there as one of her friends had just committed suicide.
No good!

We did not stay long and gave her peace.

We drove home via Richmond - the Altberg factory.
Took us 3.5 hours to get there and left Neil with 30 min to get some boots.
He walked out with 3 pairs of shoes - one of them boots!
And he got all for a very good price.
It's a great shop.

We then drove fast to Mainsgills Farmshop and had 10 min left to get some meat.
I walked out with 4kgs of liver , 2 racks of ribs and some massive pork chops. Happy!

Then wee wete looking for coffee and ended up in Barnard Castle - a lovely we town and sat in the sun for some time trying to decide if and where we would get some food before driving the last 3 hours.

We decided to go to Brough and booked a table at The Wilding.
Food was nice.
A bit more upscale than the place in Barnard Castle.
Then Neil drove us home .
We arrived before midnight and it was really warm in Glasgow.

Unloaded the car then sat in the garden with a cold cider each.

Went to bed far too late.
