I know this isn't a good shot but I have never seen Shelduck chicks before so just had to document it.  Taken quite late this evening after 9pm in the estuary.  It's been a much cooler day today and quite windy and it was so good to be out with Tess in the estuary this morning and actually feel a bit cold.  It's been a day of showers and sunshine, but more showers than sunshine.   The tide was in again and Tess had lots of playtime with dog friends as she did yesterday.  The two ladies were swimming again.  Its quite rare to see anyone swimming in the estuary.
