Gazania
This is a new variety of gazania for me this year. The foliage for it is gray. Plus the center of the flower is different from the usual gazanias.
We drove to Bridgewater today for brunch. It was bittersweet, because we knew that Alan had really wanted to go to the out of town brunch. A month ago, even though he was not well, he was making arrangements for one of the other members to drive him to Bridgewater. I'm sure he was looking down at us, watching us laugh and carry on with each other.
Another busy week. One of the planned jobs is postponed, which makes things easier for scheduling. We will be able to get started at Kelly's on Thursday instead of trying to do everything on Friday. Planting, mulch, soil and sod.
My evenings are booked again, although I do have Tuesday evening free right now. My nephew and his wife are in NS for a visit this week, and I hope to be able to see them. I might have to take an hour off in the afternoon.
Warm temperatures in the forecast for a few days, high 20's and possibly low 30's inland for Monday to Wednesday.
