A Pull-up Jumper

It was Merrick's last day of summer league basketball. They had to win the first game to get to the championship game, and they did...by 5 points.

In the final game, they held it close well into the 3rd quarter, but then somebody put a lid on top of our basket, and we ended up losing by twenty.

We had another stifling day today with the temperature topping out at 94F. Our air conditioner at home and in the car has been getting a workout.

Church, lunch at Culver's, a nap, and the game made up our day. After the game, I took Merrick out for supper, while Lisa and daughter Karen went to see my sister Lisa, who is still in the hospital.
