By the Hogsmill River

This is the second in my series 'Photos from under a railway bridge whilst out running on sunny days' (the first being last Thursday).

The bridge in question on this occasion is the one just south of Malden Manor station, and I was running along the Hogsmill River.

I waited until Mum had set off for church before going out, so it was already getting pretty warm, but I'd opted to do a sensible three and a half miles, and that was fine.

I always find that even a moderate heat leads me into a more lethargic state, so I had a fairly lazy afternoon, although I got the radio show done, before I rallied myself for a German lesson at five.

And after that, I hopped on the train up to Wimbledon to meet my brother, Wol, and our chums, Nick and Danny, for some beers and a curry.

They'd all walked the stretch of the Thames Path from the Barrier to Erith, today, so I found them pleasantly tired and great company.
