Holiday woes
I’ve just got to the end of the tablets for an infection under my thumb nail. I realised half way through the holiday that I really needed to see someone about it. I went to the pharmacy and asked the pharmacist who was very helpful. She said I needed to see the doctor and sent me to a nearby GP practice. They said he would see me as the pharmacist had sent me. I filled in a temporary resident’s form and the lovely receptionist said the doctor would see me in 5 minutes. He was nice too and gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I went back to the pharmacy and they dispensed it. All this only took an hour ! I certainly couldn’t fault the NHS service in Falmouth. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful too.
