4,000 BLIPS
A fascinating and rewarding journey of almost 11 years without a day missed.
And Blippers are such lovely people.
Of course I was hoping to find something special to celebrate with.
But it was not to be.
On the way back from York on Saturday ten different warning messages flashed up in the car. So most of the day has been spent sitting in the local VW garage waiting until they could fit our car in to the diagnostic machine. They finally found the faulty sensors and spent another two hours replacing them.
So I am left with this shot. It may not have 4,000 flowers but it does have a great many.
P.s. If there is anyone still puzzled about the giant golf balls Blip. They are a radar station designed to detect incoming ballistic missiles. The shot was taken through the car windscreen at 55 mph so it came out quite well.
