Hare today, hip-hooray

Not sure where Sunday went, the weather took a turn for the worse and we went food shopping, a new plan to shop for the week rather than as we needed.  The sky looked interesting in the evening and I was hoping for some sort of landscape shot..  Driving around in the Eden valley with no particular destination in mind it was looking like I was going to blank but in a narrow lane near Great Salkeld I rounded a bend to find two hares in road. They went into a field, I hopped out of the car and leaned over a drystone wall to find one still hanging about. Typically not the ideal lens attached to the camera but they weren't waiting for me while I faffed about changing to telephoto.
We often see hares on our travels locally but this is the first time I've been able to get an image so I'm happy with that.
