Enough Jars?
I was off early to walk to Bingley for my Knee Physio whilst Tony was up early to pick lots more fruit for jamming. We had haircut appointments mid morning so I stayed in Bingley and enjoyed toasted teacakes and two cappuccinos at the Craft Cafe, before heading out to meet Tony.
After a lovely hour of smartening and catchup with Hannah, we emerged shorn and Tony suggested we lunch back at the Craft Cafe!
Back home, I bashed some more brambles in the Drying Ground whilst Tony made raspberry and strawberry jam. Hopefully, he has left me enough strawberries for my very yummy dessert with the addition of marshmallows and cream.......
To round off the afternoon whilst Tony made dinner, I went up to the allotment to pick some cherries. The tree is heaving with them but some have already been munched or taken by the birds and squirrels. Thankfully, I bought a cherry stoner last year so it was a quick job to destone, halve and open freeze them until I can decide what to use them for.
