Wild flowers
Had a refreshing early morning dog walk. It actually felt chilly but it was more pleasant than humid heat.
My usual Monday market shop.
Made a onion and courgette eggah/frittata for tonight and tomorrow's dinner. We'll have it with salads.
Sat outside in the garden reading. The wind masks some of the construction noise thankfully.
I cannot bear to turn the news on. I'm fed up with the aggression and national arrogance of certain countries stirring up a hornet's nest politically, culturally and in terms of global safety.
I saw a post on social media listing countries which had nuclear weapons. The top was Russia followed closely by the USA both countries in the grips of dangerously volatile, capricious, unreliable and temperamental leaders.
Sitting in the garden watching the fox snoozing on the shed roof, the puff clouds chugging by and hearing birdsong and the occasional frog plip into the pond is a good distraction.
Peaceful afternoon and evening everyone.
