Cornflower Blue

I woke up early again this morning, so got up and opened doors and windows to let some air in, and took a photo of this cornflower in my garden for a blip. The wildflowers have been poor in my garden this year, presumably because it's been so parched. I also did the little bit of ironing I had whilst it was still cool. My walk this morning was cancelled, so I went in the charity shop to volunteer all morning. It was very hot upstairs in the shop, despite it being cooler outside. After lunch I sat outside reading for a while, before mowing the lawn, edging it and collecting the clippings. Needless to say, I was more than ready for a bath in some muscle soak!
