Me and the Cup

Today's the day . . . . . . . . . for a golden oldie

We've been trawling through our slide collection the past few days - looking for certain pictures for a couple of reasons.  As is always the case though, on the way, you come across other ones that catch you by surprise and immediately take you back in time to when they were taken.

The above is one such a slide.  I would have been about 10 or 11 years old - in my last year in primary school.  We lived in Cardiff then and this was taken in the front garden of our house.  The cup was something to do with Sports Day -  although why I had it at home, I have no idea?

I can remember my Dad taking that picture as if it were yesterday .................
