Beach Babes

Day one of holidays! Danny had his usual Monday morning of teaching and prison. The kids and I headed to the rocks to potter about in the rock pools searching for treasure. A bit of a strained start with Nate, but we got over it and had a good time. So so lovely to be pottering about there, and there weren't too many people there either.
On our way home we saw Sharon, the lady with the mental health struggles. It was pretty awful with her shouting a lot of obscenities at me and the kids, very loudly and very aggressively. Including threatening to have the kids taken off me. A horrible experience, especially for the kids. I don't really know how to deal with it or what to do if or when we see her again. I told the kids to just keep walking and we didn't engage. 
I felt a bit battered when we got home. 

This afternoon was team meeting and later dinner with Gemma - always a lovely time.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Fun with the kids.
2) Some good chat with my sister.
3) Meat Mondays with Gemma.
