windy

I woke up in the middle of the night to a massive thunder storm which cooled down the weather to a more pleasant temperature. It was pretty windy all day. On the way home the wind was cranked up a few notches. Luckily I took the U Bahn home. All S Bahn traffic was cancelled because  trees had fallen onto the track. It was pretty wild. A friend from Edinburgh happened to be in town with her kids. They came round for dinner and a chat. It was lovely to catch up.
