Coastal Remnants

Once part of a WWII coastal defense bunker, now a fragmented canvas weathered by time and tide. Standing on Friar’s Point in Barry, overlooking the Bristol Channel, this concrete relic has been overtaken by nature and graffiti alike—layers of history etched into every crack.

This structure survived the Battle of Britain*. Didn't fare so well with teenagers, and mother nature.

*Admittedly, this structure was never attacked, directly or otherwise, during said Battle of Britain.

Captured on the Sony A6700.
Processed in Lightroom to bring out texture and tone.
