Where you off to?

A few days in Bempton for us this week with our friends the Gannets and the Puffins :)

We are a bit later in coming to Bempton this year and although there are way more chicks around, the pink campion is almost over and the gannets and kittiwakes aren't really picking up the grass like they normally do, so it's a challenge to get them doing much more than sitting around. 
At Jubilee Corner there were a few puffins to be seen, around 5/6 at a time, which is way more than the rest of the viewpoints. There did seem to be a pair that were feeding a chick deep in a burrow, but this pair were just mooching about causing trouble I think.

I'm already struggling to keep up with journals and it's unlikely that this week will be any different. I might get round to stars and hearts, but if not I'll start again when I get back.
