Climbing Roses
I was too busy at home in the morning to spare the time for helping with the churchyard. It was the monthly St Luke’s lunch at The Exchange, and we had a choice of Spaghetti Bolognaise, Chicken Caesar Salad or Butternut Squash Tagine. I chose the latter, and it was very tasty.
Another afternoon where I fell fast asleep on the sofa for a couple of hours, then caught up with quite a lot of chores around the house. Life seems pretty relentless lately, but I just plod on. I got a photo of the climbing roses on the archway in the garden this evening before they go past their best. I gave this plant to Dad many years ago as a Father’s Day gift along with the jasmine which he planted on the other side of the arch. They eventually met up in the middle, crossed over and grew down the other side. You can’t actually see much of the wooden structure any more.
In the evening I caught up on my backblips for the past week, just hope I can keep going though I’m finding it hard at the moment.
