Sheltering in the barn...

Amidst 40+°c cloudless sunshine.  It's a big yard - and largely green.  These (22) annuals help with pops or sprays of colour.
This heat and brilliant sunlight for several days would harm the plants for sure.
Here in the barn, the roof soars above and helps keep the heat (somewhat) at bay.
