Silver orb spider

This spider is tiny. Its body section is about 5mm long. It has the finest of webs, too delicate for the camera to pick up, which it seems to spend a fair bit of time maintain8ing.

Usually the spiders are the last tiny critters to disappear for winter and search as I did, I found no others in the garden. What we still have in abundance are hoverflies. Always welcome.
