Purple Loosestrife

It was time for a "big shop", so I headed towards the local superstore. First I stopped off at Shepherd Meadows to take the "big lens" for a walk and to sit next to the river and eat some sandwiches which I had thoughtfully prepared beforehand.  There wasn't that much going on, but I did like this lone spike of purple loosetrife growing next to the balancing pond.

I didn't get to the supermarket until fairly late, and with only about an hour before closing. I thought it wouldn't be busy; how wrong was I ... it was heaving! Still, at least its done and I should have to face it again until the end of the week.
