Gaggle

On my way out of an orthopedist appointment this morning, this group of 15 Canada geese came gaggling by. They are evidently residents on this Keizer, Oregon lake.

I saw my orthopedist because of foot pain I have had for some time, and the bottom line is that I will have surgery sometime this fall. I should be fairly ambulatory after, though the recovery should be 8-10 weeks. I am looking forward to being pain free in my foot.

I am trying to get back to normal blip activities. I thank you all for your good thoughts over the last three weeks. We still feel our loss, but we are working our way day by day. Thank you for helping us.
