The happy couple

My nephew M and his bride O thoroughly enjoying their wedding day. O is giving a speech in the garden of the pub where the reception was held. It was a lovely occasion and M and O looked as if they will be very happy together.

It was also a chance to see my extended family with my brothers and their children and grandchildren and some in-laws too. I think the last time we were all together was probably my niece's wedding over ten years ago 

We had been threatened with heatwave temperatures but it was fine both inside for the meal and outside in the garden. There was a ceilidh in the evening which was probably pretty hot but I stayed away from it in the garden along with my brothers and other family.
