A Ringlet
Firstly, many thanks for all the stars and hearts for yesterday’s wasps, appreciated as always.
Towels in the wash and beds stripped before breakfast. Out for a walk just after 9 and saw lots of Ringlets battling the breeze. This one was low down and in a good position to photograph. Round the playing fields and trespassed along the first field, where the farmer’s “do not trespass” signs have been ripped up and thrown away. Why? Just ignore them and don’t cause damage. Up through the centre of it the field, which is an official footpath, and back through the wood.
Towels in, bedding out and dried in double quick time.
A bit of gardening done, but it’s either too hot or too windy to want to do much.
