Gone Fishing

We saw the goosander (common mersanger) family while enjoying coffee at a seaside restaurant. I went outside to get the pictures, and some of the youngsters made a hasty escape (see the extra), while one of them did not as it was trying to swallow a fish quite large in comparison to the youngster's mouth. That one certainly had some successful fishing!
