My Dream Car

I came across this old advert for a 1956 Vauxhall Cresta that I had cut out of a magazine when I was in my teens.  It was my dream car - ever since seeing one used by my French teacher at school.  Teachers rode bycycles, travelled by bus or walked to school. No one had a car like this (if you did have a car in the 1950s it would invariably be plain black).  This multi-coloured car with lots of chrome was just unbelievable......
