Cliffs at Greenaway Beach

I had a walk today along the North Cornwall coast path between Rock and Polzeath. I have only done this stretch once before when I parked at Padstow, caught the ferry to Rock, walked mainly along the beach and also visited St Endoc’s Church where John Betjemin is buried. Today I parked at the top of the village in Rock, walked down to the waterfront and then followed the coast path through the dunes. To be honest, I don’t really like Rock or Polzeath but the Camel estuary is stunning. On the walk back I visited Greenaway Beach. Here, and at a few other locations along this stretch of the coast path there are some spectacular purple and green banded rocks. Today’s blip was taken on Greenaway beach.
