Stress

A very stressful session at the swimming baths. George has been trying so very hard for the last couple of weeks and last week he was promised by a stand-in member of staff that he’ll go up a stage but she couldn’t physically advance him as she wasn’t his teacher.

This week it was his usual teacher but she still didn’t put him through to the next level. At the end of the lesson I asked her why and she informs me she can’t because their computer system is being updated.

I was so upset, knowing how George would be bitterly disappointed, that I couldn’t bring myself to reply.

By the time I got home I was livid.

My smart watch suddenly flashed up which surprised me. I don’t have a clue about the capabilities of these little gadgets but it did make me wonder if it knew my heart rate was through the roof :-))
