Friends in Akbuk

The builders were here all the long day, and the pool surround that they started yesterday afternoon is now finished, and with just some rendering, painting and grouting left to do the outside building work is almost done. Still waiting for the double doors for the storage room though.  Attention will then be back on the roof terrace sun room again. We are waiting for the kitchen unit to be delivered and the sliding glass window walls.  

Nicky and Rachel, who I haven't seen since last August (here), are in BL now for a couple of weeks and they came to see me today and after a mandatory tour of the villa to show them all the work being done, we then, with Rufus, went to have a leisurely mid afternoon meal and much catch up chat at Paşa restaurant. With the meal long finished but not the conversation, we came back home around 5.30 and once the workmen had finished around half an hour later, we sat outside on my newly tiled patio for another couple of hours.
