Chateau D’Azay-Le-Rideau

We visited here yesterday but I didn’t have the time to blip it. Well worth a visit if you’re in this part of the Loire Valley.

We went to the market in Loches today. Enjoyed our petit dejeuner whilst people watching and Jayne treated me to a new, genuine, hand woven in Ecuador, Panama Hat!

Later we drove to the beautiful little village of Chedigny. There we were mercifully saved from the 35 degree heat by being able to sit out on the shady terrace at Le Presbytere salon du the.

Now back at the gite and possibly going to have a thunderstorm this evening. It does feel a bit humid and oppressive at the moment.
