Derelict Brewery

Another challenge. I can't take part in Wide Wednesday as I don't have any wide lenses that I like using. And though I took some wildflower picks, I can only enter one at a time, so WFW will have to be another day.
So it's Derelict time.
This is the old Mitchell's Brewery on- aptly- Brewery Lane, in Lancaster. It's been derelict for many years, but news today came out the site has been bought for development, and will form part of the Canal Quarter redevelopment. Coincidence that it should be the day I photograph it? Who knows.
There's a few old derelicts in the Canal Quarter, and I'll miss them when they're turned into flats, shops, and whatever else is planned.
Some see them as eyesores, but I think they have a kind of beauty through their dereliction that the modernisations are unlikely to have.
Still, progress eh?
The fantastic Lancaster Musicians Workshop is nearby, and after serving the music scene for decades, that too is getting a proper bit of TLC c/o The Lovely Eggs.
