Festival of Geography

Up early for the early train to London and over to the Royal Geographical Society for the Festival of Geography. We had 50 people booked in for the day, and some good sessions. I was due to finish the day but when I arrived I was told the first speaker hadn't turned up yet due to railway issues, so I was up first - which ended up being a bonus. It was a hot day. A mix of subject knowledge updates from academics, fieldwork and practical ideas from teachers. Left to get an earlier train home. A useful day and great feedback.
