The snack thief

In reality, there isn't just one thief but whole squadrons!  Sparrows rule the roost here, topping even seagulls.  They are ever present in the gardens and also in the bars which are open to the air.  They  take nuts (seen here)and are partial to the jellytot style sweets but never take an olive, no doubt because it is big and heavy and difficult to break up.  They are little darlings though and we wouldn't have it any other way.
