Our first day back at home and my first day of being a domestic goddess again. We're going out with our sons tomorrow, then we're all coming back here for dinner so I made a quiche.
I also decided to try my hand at pink pickled onions, which I'd had as part of a salad a couple of times while we were away. I forgot to check to see if I had any cider vinegar before I went shopping this morning. I didn't, so I improvised... we shall see.
