Fifty Fifty…
… Half for us and half for the birds?
It’s a win, because the birds (or mice?) had 100% last year.
I’ve been back to the workshop doing more to my wax flowers today. I now have three completed tulips, on stems (!), but without their leaves. (The leaves are drying, and will be attached next time). They’re very satisfying to make, and much chat happens while the slow process of creation unfolds!
There’s talk of starting to make wax poppies to sell for charity in November.
I made some coffee and pecan traybake to share and was pleased with the recipe. (More so than my recent School Cake, which I haven’t given up on, yet. I’ll try a different recipe next time. Have to wait to be ‘cake hungry’, which won’t be for another week or two now, as the traybakes make such a large quantity).
Hayfever though? Grrrrrr.
At least wax flowers are pollen free.
