No dogs

Yesterday I picked up some information about the chapel at Ronchamps and thought we would visit today. I went online to check times and tickets and discovered dogs are not allowed even outside and today was far too hot to leave Hetty in the camper, or even for one of us to stay with her. So we took a slow scenic drive through lots of lovely countryside and village and saw a number of beautiful churches. We pulled onto a campervan parking place at Langres, 27 pitches and only one other camper on. No shade and 33c at 4pm, so we broke the rules and put out the awning and chairs and sat out. Disappointed that we didn’t get to visit but got a photo from Lidl car park when we stopped for shopping.
We plan to get out early tomorrow and walk round the town walls before it gets warm. Rain forecast for tonight so hoping that will bring cooler weather.
