Hospital Parking….

…. for bikes.

We had a trip to James Cook in Middlesbrough this afternoon for a follow up consult for me from March. Apart from the delay while the consultant had to go and get her manager to sort out some ‘issues’, it was pretty straightforward.

Which is in stark contrast to the three other trips Callum has done there this week - taking a neighbour to his appointment (only for him to be admitted there and then) and then taking his wife to visit the same day with essentials and again yesterday. The parking is pretty bad - sometimes - and it depends on the day of the week, time of the day etc.

Today it was relatively easy. Parking space. No charge as the machines are out of action. And only a 20 minute delay being seen.

I spotted this bank of cycle lockers on the way in. At least I am guessing that is what they are?

I also spotted the helicopter on the helipad, but as there was tight security on the ramp leading up to the pad, I couldn’t get a good shot.
