Hover Fly

I did a few hours of gardening this morning, including weeding, deadheading, removing gone over rocket plants, planting more salad seeds and picking up a lot of discarded dead leaves. The garden is just soooooo dry, we've had so little rain for months now. Anyway, the garden bin is full and ready for collection tomorrow. I also did two lots of washing and dried it outside, the ironing can wait until tomorrow. I watched a bit of tennis this afternoon - Emma is playing well at times, but she's clearly affected by something. The other day I placed one of my very occasional orders with John Lewis. The order had four items, which arrived as four separate packages (not good for the environment), over three deliveries (not good for the customer and the environment), using two different couriers (probably not cost effective for the company). The final two items arrived today as two separate deliveries, meaning I had to stay in all day. The packaging for the first item was damaged. Not sure I'll place another order with them.
