'Interesting' Day
A visit to Milton Keynes in the morning where J and I saw the Andy Warhol exhibition. Worth seeing but he had strange ideas and a stranger execution of them. It was not overly busy and finishes at the end of this week so I wonder if it's not been very popular.
Then we wandered over to John Lewis to look at vacuum cleaners - I've been moaning about my current one for a long time (every since I bought it really!) We ended up buying a new cordless Dyson, so you can imagine my excited anticipation of using it tomorrow!
Last stop....IKEA! A few useful purchases, including more wine glasses as many get spoilt by putting them in the dishwasher but they're cheap enough to just replace! (If you come to dinner here I will use 'proper' glasses that don't go in the dishwasher!
Drive home was uneventful .... most of the way.
Then we witnessed the most dangerous and hair raising driving I have ever seen. The last straw was the lunatic overtaking a large horsebox by crossing double white lines at speed on a blind bend!!! Car coming the other way missed a head on crash by nano seconds.
I really wish I had a dash cam to report this lethal driving. I will now look into this and get one as it would be evidence for this bastard's behaviour!
Much needed glass of wine now in hand!
