But they weren’t selling these. A check on the wedged centre plate which was no longer wedged so the ploy of leaving it lowered a bit paid off and it went up and down with no problems.
Then onto the workboat to find out why the bilge pump didn’t work……..having both wires connected helped. Fixed for now but a more reliable job to do during the winter lay-up.
Then back via the farm shop to pick up some “freshly dug” new potatoes. We’ve loads in the garden but the dry spring means they are very small, and it doesn’t look as though we are going to have any proper rain in the immediate future.
