Clematis in our back garden
Had my follow-on appointment at St Helens Hospital - they took off the patches (from my back) and wrote all over my back. I have to resist the urge to scratch, keep my back dry and go back Friday afternoon for them to see if any reactions. I will be able to have a shower after this. I usually wash my hair at least every alternate day (in the shower) so today I had to wash it without having a shower which I used to do all the time back in the pre-shower days but I'm out of practice now so found it tedious.
Terry dropped me off and picked me up.
He has heard nothing from his GP about his blood tests which should have been organised to be done weekly (it's now 13 days he's been home and no blood test. He went on the website to order more clexane injections and they have not been put on repeat order so he can't. The anticoagulant team lady was contacting his GP more than a week ago to advise her to do that so that he will not run out. Typically, it has not been done. This is something he must not run out of and he has to have the anticoagulants for at least 6 months in total for the blood clot he has in his portal vein. It's damn well annoying.
His hands are both peeling (palms) - no rash or soreness just the skin coming off in lumps.
