Sculptures and other stuff

There are many wonderful things in the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Some are alive and some are not.

I spent most of the day in the Park and the YSP Centre.

* I wandered around finding sculptures wondering how many times I had been there over the years;
* I watched many groups of children and young people on school trips thinking what a great place for such trips but glad I had nothing to do with such things any more;
* I appreciated the many quiet spots where one could sit in the sunshine with great views and a good book.

Meanwhile Gordon took himself off to the Yorkshire Mining Museum where he found out lots of stuff and went on a guided trip . . . underground! (the thought of it!)

We drove home and managed fish and chips whilst we were still in Yorkshire.
