Growing Boy

This is the elder, and larger, of My Girl's two boys from last year. His first set of antlers are coming along nicely. His brother, who is a good deal smaller, still just has tiny bumps. But the smaller one is MUCH bolder than the bigger one. He (the smaller) is the deer who comes closest to actually taking peanuts from my hand. And yesterday evening Bugsy was outside and he and the little boy nearly touched noses! I'm not sure Bugsy can see well enough anymore to be sure what sort of animal he was approaching. And the little boy deer was just curious! Poor old Bugsy (who will be 16 in the fall) has cataracts that are making him more and more blind.

But anyway - this guy was with him Mum this morning - the little one came later and was served his own bunch of peanuts, of course.
