In full bloom

I’ve spent the whole day with my dear friend H, her garden is blooming and most of our lunch , apart from the Salmon (obviously), has been grown in it: new potatoes, lettuce, cucumber and the most delicious strawberries. Tomatoes are doing well in the greenhouse but not ready yet. Beans are streaking up their supports, and lots of other veggies doing well. Tilly, H’s elderly Jack Russell, nearly 15, was feeling a little under par so no walks were taken except for a quiet stroll round the lovely garden.

H and I had lots to catch up on and lots of subjects were covered. I came away with lots of ideas of putting the world to rights?? Oh how I wish we could.
