Red hot poker
This morning I went to the sewing group in Wexford - no-one else did. So I spent a peaceful couple of hours stitching.
Then lunch and coffee, before doing a bit of supermarket shopping.
When I arrived home, our teenage neighbour was still digging up stones in the newest flower bed. W had been strimming, and attacking the weeds and moss on the drive.
After an early dinner, I went to band practice - stopping briefly as I drove out to grab a photo of the red hot pokers. Developing nicely, on very sturdy, but weirdly twisty stems.
